CarrotLah.sg provides an informational price-checking service for branded products listed in renovation quotations, operated as an independent service currently in beta. Verdicts are opinions based on trade-price benchmarks at the time of checking, provided for your reference. They are not valuations, legal advice, or accusations against any quoting party — how you use the information in your negotiations is your decision.
Quotation checks are provided free of charge for homeowners. Fair-use limits apply per email address, and we may decline submissions that are not from genuine homeowners. Uploaded quotation files are deleted automatically after the verdict or report is released; we retain the verdict, not your documents. Direct Sub-Con Match is free for homeowners; listed sub-cons may pay us a referral fee when a job is confirmed, which does not affect the price you are quoted.
We verify only items identifiable by brand or model number. Where an item cannot be verified, the verdict will say so. Benchmarks are updated periodically but prices move; verdicts reflect our database at the time of checking. We are not liable for decisions made, contracts signed or cancelled, or losses arising from use of the service.
We collect only what the check requires: your quotation and your email address. Quotations are used solely to produce your verdict; branded item lines may be shared with our vetted suppliers to obtain re-quotes, always without your name or contact details, and your files are deleted after your verdict is released. Your email is used to deliver the verdict and occasional renovation-related updates you consent to — unsubscribe anytime, no resale of data. All transactions arising from our referrals — whether with wholesalers via a price check or with sub-contractors via Direct Sub-Con Match — are conducted directly between you and that party on a willing-buyer, willing-seller basis. CarrotLah is not a party to, agent in, or guarantor of any such transaction. Prices, delivery, installation, workmanship, warranty and disputes are matters strictly between buyer and seller. Likewise, any renegotiation between you and your interior designer following a verdict is entirely between you and them.
One quotation per check. We may decline checks that are abusive, fraudulent, or submitted by parties seeking competitor intelligence rather than a homeowner's price check.
